John Aaroe and Sam Kraemer, General Counsel and Manager of the John Aaroe Group Brentwood office, are pleased to announce that Kaaren Kurtzman has joined the firm. Noted for her impressive track record in high-end sales, she has been named a Director of Aaroe Estates. She has also been appointed to the Board of the John Aaroe Group Community Foundation.
One of the most respected professionals on the Westside, Ms. Kurtzman has received numerous honors at her previous firm as one of its top 3% of sales agents nationwide. She is known for her impeccable client service, in-depth real estate expertise and establishment of lasting relationships during the transaction process. Prior to entering real estate in 1984, her career included positions in the arts, counseling and fundraising.
“I often draw on my background in psychology and counseling in representing my clients,” says Kurtzman. “Every transaction is different, challenging and always interesting. I enjoy creating relationships, making sure the transaction is highly successful for my clients and creating relationships that inspire them to call on me again.”
Both buyers and sellers benefit from Kurtzman’s background and skills. Her 13 years of experience as Executive Director of a nonprofit organization has given her unparalleled marketing, fundraising and organizational expertise. “A strong marketing background is essential in the real estate business,” she says. “It not only enables me to create effective multimedia strategies to showcase my homes, but gives me the solid negotiation skills needed to create a “win-win” situation that gives my clients the best possible outcome.”
A native Californian and Santa Monica resident, Kurtzman earned her Bachelor of Arts degree from U.C. Berkeley and her Master of Arts from the University of Southern California. Her interests include travel, cultural events, and active supporting of many nonprofits. She serves on the Photography Council at the Los Angeles County Museum of Art and the board of directors for PATH (People Assisting The Homeless). She was also on the Board of Directors of her prior firm’s charitable foundation.
