A history of wonder
At 94 this year, Christmas Tree Lane in Altadena is the oldest large-scale outdoor Christmas display in the world. It’s on the National Register of Historic Places and a California Historical Landmark. But most of all, it’s the epitome of holiday magic. 10,000 lights on a mile of majestic deodars will be lit on Saturday, December 13, at 6 p.m.; the Winter Arts & Crafts Festival starts at 2 p.m.
