John Aaroe Group, a leading Los Angeles luxury residential real estate brokerage firm, opened an office in Baldwin Hills today, becoming the first major real estate company to open a location in the affluent and highly diverse South Los Angeles community. Congresswoman Karen Bass and Debbie Allen, founder of the Debbie Allen Dance Academy, joined John Aaroe Group founder and CEO John Aaroe and Baldwin Hills Associate Manager Ron Jackson in the ribbon cutting.
“We are looking forward not only to bringing our brand of personal representation and powerful results to our clients in this area, but to becoming an involved and valuable part of this community,” said Aaroe.
To mark the opening, John Aaroe Group Community Foundation that gives to locally based organizations in communities that it serves made its first Baldwin Hills donation of $2,500 to the Debbie Allen Dance Academy.
Jackson, who heads the new office at 3717 S. La Brea Ave., is a longtime expert on Baldwin Hills neighborhoods and their homes. Born and raised in Los Angeles and a 25-year resident of the Baldwin Hills area, he’s known for his local expertise and connections.
“Leading this office is the opportunity of a lifetime,” he says. “We’ve assembled a terrific and very talented team, and we’re ready to give our clients the personal, successful representation our company is known for.”
In just six years, John Aaroe Group has grown to become one of the major residential brokerage firms in Greater Los Angeles, on track to close $2.2 billion in home sales this year. The company is a philanthropic pioneer in the industry whose foundation, supported by both agents and corporate profits, awards monthly grants to worthwhile causes in the communities it serves.
