John Aaroe Group and Pacific Union named #8 Brokerage in US

The newly merged firm of Pacific Union and John Aaroe Group has been named the eighth largest residential brokerage in the nation, according to annual lists compiled by noted industry publications REAL Trends and RISMedia. The firm is also the second largest independent real estate brokerage in California.

John Aaroe Group entered 2017 with impressive momentum. In the first quarter alone, the firm closed six $10 million-plus home sales, with one in excess of $65 million. Recently, its sister firm The Mark Company announced the ultimate Downtown Los Angeles listing, Oceanwide Plaza Residences, an ultra premium condominium project that will deliver more than $1 billion in new units in 2019.

In December of last year, Aaroe expanded its connections to nearly 40 offices and some 1,100 top-performing real estate professionals throughout California when it merged with Northern California based brokerage Pacific Union.

“While we’re tremendously excited by our growth, we remain a passionately local company with a close-knit culture,” says Founder John Aaroe. “Our merger with Pacific Union gives us even more resources, particularly in progressive technology. It’s also delivered powerful connections, including our new Beijing-based Concierge and trusted colleagues in the Bay Area to whom we can refer our clients.”

Earlier this year, both John Aaroe and Pacific Union CEO Mark McLaughlin were named to Inman’s 2017 list of real estate influencers, a distinguished list of executives and entrepreneurs who are transforming the industry.
