John Aaroe Group has strongest first quarter in company history

LA-based luxury real estate brokerage John Aaroe Group closed seven transactions over $10 million year-to-date, posting the highest first quarter sales volume in company history.

Notable sales include The Danny Thomas Estate in Beverly Hills (at $65 million – the second highest sale in the history of Beverly Hills, second only to Aaroe’s sale next door to Swedish billionaire Markus Persson for $70 million) and The Edie Goetz Estate in Holmby Hills (for $40 million). John Aaroe Group broke two records with the highest reported sale in the history of Malibu’s Carbon Beach ($48 million) and the Wilshire Corridor ($15 million penthouse at The Carlyle Residences), both of which were off-market.*

“Building on the success of our exceptional 2016, we are thrilled to announce this incredible chapter in our business – our strongest first quarter on record in what I’m confident will be another milestone year in our company’s history,” Founder John Aaroe said in announcing the sales. “Our outstanding team of real estate professionals, supported by our best-in-class marketing uniquely position us for continued momentum.”

According to REAL Trends, an industry analyst, John Aaroe Group now ranks as the #8 brokerage in the nation since its merger with Pacific Union in December of 2016. The newly formed entity has 38 offices in Northern and Southern California, with 1,100 real estate professionals, $10.5 billion in annual sales, and 8,633 transactions per year.

On the heels of a strong 2016 and a record-breaking first quarter of 2017, John Aaroe Group’s sister firm, The Mark Company, recently landed the sales and marketing contract for the highly anticipated Oceanwide Plaza project in Downtown’s vibrant South Park area. The project will cover a full block near Staples Center and LA Live, and consist of a three-tower development that will include 504 condominium residences and a five‐star Park Hyatt hotel.
