A native Angelino, I began my involvement with the real estate business early in my career. Upon graduating with a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Oregon, I was immediately hired as the in-house leasing manager of a groundbreaking and successful urban renewal project in the Old Town of Portland, Oregon. I worked directly under Bill Naito, the visionary developer who is credited to this day with resuscitating much of the old downtown area in that city.

I left the real estate profession upon my return to Los Angeles, where for the next twenty-five years I launched then ran a successful women's clothing design & manufacturing business which boasted high-end clients such as Saks Fifth Avenue, Neiman Marcus, Nordstroms and other quality North American retailers. In early 2001, however I returned full circle with my move to the Beverly Hills offices of DBL Realtors.

As a fervent environmentalist, I've taken an active part in conservation and education efforts towards sustainable living and in community projects. I am a founding member as well as continuing board member of the Mar Vista Farmer's Market. In addition to this I am an active member of the Mar Vista Community Council's Green Committee. Past positions include Sub-Committee chair for 11th District Councilman Bill Rosendahl's Empowerment Congress's Sustainability Committee and a past member of the Beverly Hills Greater Los Angeles Board of Realtors Green Committee. In 2009, I completed the construction of an AIA award winning LEED Platinum home in Venice, California. I took advantage of this experience to educate both myself and others about the many aspects as well as the merits of environmentally sustainable building construction.

In addition to developing my own project, I have had the opportunity to represent a number of new construction projects from residential family homes to multi-unit condominiums. I regularly consult with developers and homeowners on the implementation of sustainable design and material and believe my informative style and understanding of the design-build process in tandem with my business acumen and experience provided a valuable breadth of knowledge and perspective to buyer's, builders, and sellers.
